Hi, I’m Jiaqi (Jacky). I’m a software engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a master’s degree in computer science from a US university.
I like work where machine learning meets solid engineering: small, dependable tools, careful evaluation, and code that other people can run. This blog collects project write-ups, papers and the occasional set of notes.
Outside of work
- Nature. Trails, coastlines and anywhere with trees. The Bay Area is a good place for it.
- Sports. Being active keeps me sane, and a good team game is the best kind of break.
- Music. Listening constantly, and I once wrote a Discord bot just to share it (Jathym).
- Literature. Novels and essays. I’d rather finish one good book than skim five.
